Because it is roughly situated in the heart of the island, deep in a serene, somewhat jungle-type atmosphere, certainly walking access differs from that of a property directly along the beaches. The major “walkable” site happens to be the unique and serene garden of the resort itself. So, under this shed, at the on-site cafe, that serves as the main base, a few steps from your bungalow, you can tread to get your cup of coffee in the morning, yummy food at any time, or just sit with a book amidst trees and nature.

For most other places – namely beaches or the main pier – walking just isn’t a viable mode of transportation. The main beaches, Aow Yai (Long Beach) and Ao Khao Kwai (Buffalo Bay) are approx 5 – 10 minutes via a scooter. The main village & pier are both about a 10-minute ride away as well. It’s really ideally located for easy stops if you have a scooter but not if you’re walking.

So be aware that if you rent the motorbike at this resort and take it to another resort, a charge can be applied for taking it out of the compound. Don’t worry, the property is an economical scooter leasing place to set up the hiring of a scooter for you when you check-in. Walkability within the resort is on serene premises; the real advantage is ‘rideability’ to every part of this enchanting virgin island.
